I launched a campaign that helped modern slaves self-report to the police and be removed from slavery, as well as increased calls to the slavery hotline.
I educated the nation on how to recycle, encouraging long-term behaviour change in consumer audiences.
I helped to educate people on the importance of valuing the contributions of refugees, to create a more cohesive and accepting society.
Causes I care about
I’m neurodivergent and proud, and I care deeply about creating genuine environments in which people can thrive. Women’s equality issues and violence against women and girls are issues I seek to tackle and make real, lasting change in with campaigns I work on.

I helped to reduce food waste through consumer campaigns activated with influencers on social.
I helped bring together networks across the clean energy sector to create content that simplifies and amplifies complicated messages to new audiences.
I created a movement online to raise awareness of unchecked, toxic chemical producers in supply chains through engaging social media content.
Causes I care about
My MA is in Gender, Media and Culture so I care deeply about women’s issues and LGBTQ+ representation. I also run a football club in my spare time so catch me campaigning on the sidelines.

Impacts I’ve made
Through effective design, I've helped create engaging campaigns to help promote sustainability and recycling initiatives.
I've helped to create safer online investments by bringing real-world financial accountability into the metaverse.
I've worked on promoting social issues, such as the campaign for UBI (Universal Basic Income) in Wales, which has led to a trial of the scheme by the Welsh Government.
I've also worked on a project that aims to bring legal services to unhoused individuals, who are not able to access such services.
Causes I care about
Re-dressing the wealth divide in Wales and the wider United Kingdom. Making sure that every person has the financial means to thrive and not just survive. No one should be choosing to heat or eat.
On top of that, I'm constantly looking for more ways to raise money for Parkinson's Disease research and have a long-standing relationship with Parkinson's UK in Wales.

I promoted the voice of the leadership of social care across Wales - including raising awareness of issues such as the impact of the Covid pandemic on the care sector.
I led on the delivery of large national conferences aimed at providing opportunities to the social care sector to learn, develop, network and influence future progress.
I have raised awareness and influenced discussion on issues relating to children’s rights, to a broad audience of national policy makers, educators, health and care practitioners, and parents.

I created and led an award winning campaign to get images of everyday female football fans to the top of Google Images ahead of over-sexualised images of ‘WAGS’.
Working with Arts Council England I helped boost sales of musical instruments in the UK through their Take It Away programme.
With Amnesty International I brought back legendary comedy event 'The Secret Policeman’s Ball' and took it to New York for the first time, profiling global issues to its biggest ever audience.
Causes I care about
I’ve worked extensively in sport and believe in the power of participation and fandom to bring people and communities together and to get their voices heard for positive change.
Right now, our planet is at great risk and I’m fortunate enough to work with with a number of groups trying to drive environmental change, as well as changes in attitudes.

We all have specific gifts through which we can make our own unique mark on the world, and I’m passionate about using PR for purpose. I’m cause-driven, both individually and professionally, have been lucky to be able to marry an empathetic nature with strong communication skills in a storytelling setting for more than 15 years. I’ve worked on some brilliant campaigns with some wonderful people, including helping to increase numbers of people adopting and fostering children, challenging stigma around mental health for the UK's leading mental health charity, and raising awareness of major public health causes – to name a few.
Causes I care about
I’m passionate about supporting people who live with mental health conditions to feel seen, and I feel very lucky that I’ve been able to use PR and storytelling to help tackle stigma surrounding mental health. In doing so, I’ve played a role in empowering people with lived experiences to share their stories in an authentic way that both educates and inspires.

I’ve worked on several campaigns championing the rights and value of refugees in the UK, from a report on the positive impact of refugee entrepreneurs to a campaign challenging the Government’s proposed Nationality and Borders Bill.
I have led a series of women’s health campaigns particularly around gynaecology cancer, working with charities to increase awareness and understanding of the symptoms of these cancers in order to help facilitate earlier diagnosis.
I have helped coordinate a network of charities, businesses and policy makers to run an annual campaign to help improve the nation’s numeracy levels and confidence with numbers and maths.

I am a Trustee of a charity that works to improve people’s relationship with the natural world through storytelling, and I’m’ particularly interest in issues to do with nature and the environmental crisis.

Impacts I’ve made
As a newspaper and magazine journalist for three decades, I reported on myriad causes and campaigns that matter to communities and individuals, as well as hard news, issues and human interest stories that engage, resonate, impact and inspire.
I launched and led an international communications campaign for the UK Government to encourage British business to invest in and trade with Mexico as a target market.
While heading up PR for a major health, sports and leisure operator, I helped to educate and motivate people of all ages across the UK about the importance of exercise, family activity and good nutrition, as well as encouraging increased participation in grassroots tennis.
Causes I care about
As a writer and editor, I’ve always wanted to give a voice to those who struggle to be heard and whose story deserves to be told, those who overcome great adversity and are an inspiration to others, and the unsung heroes who always put others before their own needs.
From individuals, groups and charities working tirelessly across communities to raise awareness and support to major national campaigns with the ability to impact and make a difference, I thrive on telling stories that make people sit up and take notice.
The education rights of children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), women’s equality, working parents’ rights, and animal welfare are subjects that are particularly close to my heart.

A journalist’s nose for news, copy and content writing for online and print, editing, proofreading, research, and consumer and corporate communications expertise. Specialist areas including health, fitness and wellbeing; business; interior design; and hospitality and leisure. During a career spent working on both sides of the journalism-PR fence, I’ve headed newsrooms and press offices, giving me invaluable insight and experience of the interconnected dynamics, needs and goals of each industry.
I’ve been the editor of national and regional consumer, business and contract magazines, and written about a vast spectrum of subjects.
I’ve interviewed everyone from the average person on the street to CEOs of global companies, senior government ministers and famous TV presenters, and collaborated with world-renowned sporting legends. I also speak Spanish, which has come in very handy for international projects... Olé!
